The cold knee breaker

Headed out with Kym today to do a nice easy 11.1km. Its the longest I have run in about 12 months. Although I am not heading up to the Gold Coast half any more Kym is and needs a few kms under the legs before the big day.

So we headed out pretty easy and gradually increased the past up to about 6min kms. The first 5km felt ok but after that my knees started to pack it in again. At 9km I was in pain. at 11km I was kinda half running half limping. And it was bloody freezing cold to. Should have worn the skins.

All up we did pretty good by our standards. And I had forgotten how good it was to run with someone else as well. Hopefully the legs wont feel too bad tomorrow.
